Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I subscribed long ago in Couchsurfing, but I'll start to use it just now. I wish to spend at least six months traveling around the world. I believe in culture-sharing and, more generally, in having a good time togheder on this wonderful earth of ours! Couchsurfing looks like offering the nice opportunity to meet locals, make some amazing human connections, and maybe discover some cool hidden 'not so turistic' places.

Interests

I have a lot of hobbies, basically all that includes creativity. I love drawing, DIY, painting and writing stories.
I also heartily love nature and hiking, along with out-of-doors sports such as horse riding and swimming.
If I cannot travel, or for any reason I'll find myself stuck at home, then I'll happily lose myself into books. Last but not least, I couldn't live without music. I love singing and I can make some noises with a guitar, as the proud beginner that I am!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's easier to list the music I don't like rather than the genres I like. I listen rock, blues, jazz, pop... Rival Sons are one of my favourite bands, but I also listen to Ladysmith black mambazo and Lady Gaga. And I do love discovering local folk music!
Same thing for books and movies. I love Wes Anderson and Miyazaki movies, to name two directors. All the 'not-so-much-need-to-think' marvel movies are samely cool. And don't even get me started on books ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked along the whole island of Crete (Greece). It may be less impressive than it sounds, since Crete has got only one big road that runs from one end of the island to the other! But anyway, I loved it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be happy to chat and improve my language skills (I am currently learning spanish). If you want to learn italian, be it grammatically correct italian or typical swears, just ask! And then, of course, I can tell you some nice curiosities about Venice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to help you with washing dishes, taking care of kids, pets and plants, cooking simple meals, sharing stories.
