I can always find a reason to smile, to feel happy, thankful and lucky.

I believe that happiness depends on us: if you smile at the world, the world will smile back at you. If you are unhappy, maybe you are missing something.
There are many awful things in this life, it's true, but how many of them are effectively happening to you?
Then don't be angry just because you missed the bus, or because your favourite football team lost a match.
Be thankful of what you have, there are people who would give anything to have just a piece of what you have everyday. Don't let it go to waste.

Be curious, try, explore, ask, find out, learn, be surprised and share!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am in France for my PhD. I'll stay here for a while and until I'm in Grenoble I can hangout with people and show them around the city.

- When I am in Rome (it still happens, once in a while!) -
I cannot host anyone at my place, but I can show someone my city and make him/her live it like he/she has been living here for a long time.

I do love my city, I know lots of things about it and I try to grab every chance to learn more and to share what I know.
I really have a good time when I speak about Rome and I love telling stories and legends of the past (from the ancient Rome to few decades ago).
I am never tired of going to wonderful places which usually are unknown by the most of the tourists and, most of all, I love to share all of this with people who enjoys it!
So, if you want to explore Rome, I can be your personal guide and (possibly) give you a ride with my scooter: the fastest way to go avoid the everlasting trafic!

We can meet for lunch or dinner and have a slice of excellent pizza, or have a sandwhich while walking in the center...
and if you are one of those people who enjoys the night-life, we can go dancing or having a beer in some cool locals! ;)
I'll do anything I can to make you live this amazing city.

It's a hard choice.
As far as travelling is concerned, since I saw "The secret life of Walter Mitty", it became one of my favourites. Amazing, wonderful, inspiring!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Winter 2015, Les Deux Alpes (France).
I was with my bestfriend. We took the last chair lift in the late afternoon. We waited for the other people to go away and then we started snowboarding down the slopes with noone else. Then we stopped, in the middle of a slope, facing the top of the mountains surrounding us. The only sound we could hear was the gentle whispering of the wind. The sun was slowly setting down and the snowflakes were sparkling on the ground. There I understood that there are moments which are not meant to be lived only: I could swear I breathed that moment. I breathed the warm sunlight at the sunset, the far horizon filled with snowy mountains, the perfect silence, the wind, the need for nothing else and the joy to be there and live all of this.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I could teach something in Italian language and culture, cooking, photography, modeling, physics and maths, karate, handmade jewelry, playing guitar (I'm just a beginner, though!).

..but I have interests in every field, I love learning new things about everything!
I would love to learn something about acting and singing, but also about drawing, painting, gardening...

The easiest things to share could be experiences worth living, places to see and stories but it depends a lot on the situation...
