ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly and easy going person, I like to meet new people, talk about everything, go out, have fun, enjoy life.
My friends and housemates say that I'm crazy, too, but I'm sure they mean in a good way ;)

I'm not good in talking about myself, so if you want to know "all about me" (or at least go close to that) you have to meet me ;)

I can meet surfers in Rome for a coffee or a walk in the city centre.

I had so far one couchsurfing experience, as a guest
and it was great! :)

Interests

I like to find beauty in small things or where people usually don't look. And picture it with my camera.

I'm passionate about arts in general, every form of art.
I like a lot to visit museums and exibitions..but I especially appreciate those which are free!

I listen to every kind of music (except for HipHop) depending on the mood. I also like exploring new kind of music and artists, and I like to share my "knowledge".
I like to dance too. I dance belly dance, but I'm only a beginner.

Another passion of me is cooking and especially cooking for other people :) Food is better when its shared.

I enjoy a lot being in the nature, hiking, walking in parks and gardens, birdwatching and taking pictures of everything that catches my attention.
I like also to have long walks in the city and discover new places, which is quite easy in a big city like Rome.

Another big passion of me is photography. I'm not an expert, but I love to take pictures, and I'm trying to improve.
Watching a good movie (maybe with a good company).

Forgot one: travel. But that should come without saying =)

Some of my favourite writers: Banana Yoshimoto, Fred Vargas, George Orwell and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Among my favourite movies: Dancer in the dark, Memoirs of a Geisha, In the mood for Love, Blade Runner, Mononoke Hime and many other movies from Hayao Miyazaki.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: Erasmus,Flamingo ringing, cliffs abseiling/climbing at night to wait for seabirds to catch and ring..
Seen: Neverending colouful fields of flowers, thousends of geese and many other water birds all togher, the Wadden Sea

I'm curious about everything :)
I like to share what I know, what I've done, my experiences and I like other people to share it with me. I love to share good food and good drinks (teas and infusions, good wines, good beers) and I can share some italian (or just mine) recipes.
