I'm a very thoughtful and friendly man, I love people. I love spending time with them as much as I love loneliness.
I love music, colours, arts, technology, plants, rocks, food, beer. I couldn't even stop saying how many things I love. I could even tell you that I love listening to a crunched plastic bottle making some noise when you squeeze it. :)

My life is a very variegated one. I've done lot of different jobs, but mostly in the graphic design field, in teaching in a fine arts academy and designing a software for virtual reality simulations.
I also work on some personal creative projects, prints, digital art pictures, electronic music and bags design. I played the piano for 30 years but it's a bit paused right now.
I started to learn many things: Chinese and Japanese languages, computer programming, bonsai growing, fixing electronics devices, painting watercolour, singing and many others

I can't stop feeling that everything in this life is so damn interesting, so now I'm working on immortality 🤣

I'm also into spirituality, if we can describe what the hell it can be. But when you feel the power of the universe flowing through all the things and through you, well, that's spirituality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I love meeting new people, especially from different countries.
I'm here because I love giving hospitality, and a lot of friends or friends of friends or travellers like to share some time with me and have dinners together. Or sleep here. That's how a home is supposed to be: open.
Sometimes my friends organise dinners at my place without even telling me 🤣

And I'm here because when I'm travelling I want to stay with local people, I can even prefer to stay at someone place to spend some quality time together rather then going out and visit classic attractions if it's worth it.
In exchange I'd like to share my experiences and my points of view, cook something together, Italian or mixed food if you like :)

Interests

Read novel and essays, or strange books about the square root of two or analytical psychology.
Hiking on the mountains, growing plants, making furniture, playing piano, singing, drawing small abstract things, visiting exhibitions, trying various types of beer, watch the astonishing blue gradient of the dusk in awe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My home is your home.
In this place everything is self made, I've done it with passion and love. I built all the furniture with my own hands to live in a place where I can be surrounded by things that reflect my own being, and I love it :)
You can use everything here, I could even give you my own bed if you're in two or three travellers, I don't mind to sleep on my couch if necessary. Or on the balcony 😅

But this is not Airbnb. If you plan to come here, drop your bags and disappear just to come back hours later only for sleeping or cooking something by yourself like in an hostel you got the couchsurfing wrong my friend. I want to know you, tell me about your life, your expectations, your dreams, your past loves. I'll tell you about mine.

Sharing is caring. I love to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for you, my local friends will also join us with enthusiasm. Or we can do it together, we can cook your traditional food and I'll love doing it with you. I'd like to have interesting conversations, and if I'm free and if you are in the mood we can also hangout together.

Please do not send me any request if you don't speak at least a basic english. I'm not looking for people that can only say "Yes" or "no" and "nice to meet you", I'm sorry but it will end up in me feeling like the receptionist of an hotel with an embarrassing silence pervading the place.

If you read my words and they ring a bell in your heart, please include in your request the name of your favorite colour, but not just "red" "blue" or "yellow" gimme the name of the colour that matches with your soul like "Teal!" or "Scarlet!" or "Okra!", you choose. Tell me what colour are you :)
