About Me
Coming from a Caribbean island, I'm just what you'd expect: social, caring, and a little loud sometimes. I'm a scientist and educator by profession and by heart and am currently a graduate student in marine science. Understanding the wonders of the world is fascinating to me. I'm also a huge animal (especially dog) lover!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Miyazaki movies: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa.
Music: latin music, salsa, merengue, bachata, folk rock, EDM
Books: I love reading and listening to audiobooks. I enjoy fantasy sagas, like the Mistborn series, and science stories, like The Genius of Dogs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love adventures!
Just in the past year I've tried my hand at flying trapeze, downhill skiing, and skate-skiing. This means a lot coming from me: a tropical-climate girl who is scared of heights!
Teach, Learn, Share
Education is my callings. It's the reason why I am in graduate school: to teach about the wonders of our Earth and how to care for it. I love having intellectual conversations where the sharing of ideas comes naturally.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share all kids of things! Conversations, ideas, knowledge, stories, music, ...
