ABOUT ME

I'm a super easy going person... who loves meeting and getting to know people. I'm a social worker, so it's basically in my nature to want to talk to anyone and connect with others. I love nature and being outside... Yoga is my passion. And I love kids and all kinds of animals (except fish... they freak me out!) I like to paint for fun and read-- mostly books with a deep message or life lesson. I have a pretty enthusiastic personality, but I also know how to just chill out. I'm not the biggest partyer... When traveling I'd rather get up at a decent time to go check out a museum or tour... But I do like exploring everything!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an open minded person who strives to find compassion for all... I try to live my life in the moment and appreciate everything within and around me. I'm a vegetarian, environmentalist, yogini, feminist, Jewish Buddhist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A recent Couch Surfer. I met some AWESOME people while traveling in India who used CS a lot...so that inspired me to join. I met up with a couple of people when I got back to the States. And, as I'm getting ready to go to Costa Rica for a while, I'm even more excited to use CS to create a like-minded community of friends!

The best CS experience was traveling through India with some of the most amazing people...we truly had some wild & crazy adventures, but they are people I know will be my friends forever.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Lately, the coolest thing I've done was interned at an orphanage in South Africa for 4 months. Oh and then I traveled through India and Thailand for 4 1/2 months.

I can share knowledge on: Judaism, yoga, meditation, human behavior and development, early childhood intervention for kids with disabilities, social justice, travel tips, Colorado, and Austin, Texas.
