About Me

I'm an environmental biologist, a passionate traveler, and a devoted nature lover. I thrive on meeting people from around the world, exchanging meaningful experiences, and learning from different cultures. Providing value and helping others is something I deeply enjoy. I find great joy in listening to people's stories and immersing myself in nature. One of my greatest passions is sharing my love for the natural world while continuously expanding my knowledge in various fields. I also love reading, painting, running, and embracing new adventures that enrich my perspective on life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Interests:
I have a deep appreciation for music, especially indie, classical, rock, alternative rock, jazz, blues, swing, and other alternative genres.

Favorite Films:
I'm drawn to visually, artistic, and emotionally compelling films such as Amélie Poulain, Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams, Fight Club, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Into the Wild, The Flowers of War, Perfect Sense, Little Miss Sunshine, Howl’s Moving Castle, Big Fish, What Dreams May Come, and Midnight in Paris, among others.

Favorite Books:
I enjoy thought-provoking literature, including The Origin of Species, The Origin of Humans, The Martian Chronicles, The Call of the Wild, and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. I'm particularly drawn to books by naturalist philosophers and existentialist thinkers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege of working with bats in the jungle, studying them as key indicators of environmental disturbances. I’ve also looked after cattle in the Swiss Alps, experiencing firsthand the deep connection between humans and nature. My research on black bears (Ursus americanus) allowed me to better understand wildlife conservation.

Beyond science, I work with children in rural communities, teaching them about the importance of nature, environmental stewardship, and cultural appreciation. I believe fostering gratitude for our planet is essential for future generations.

I’ve also written a book, lived in nine countries, and pursued my entrepreneurial journey, constantly seeking ways to create impact and inspire change.
