I'm a high school Spanish teacher who loves to dance. I lived in Mexico when I was a little girl but have lived in California my whole life. I didn't start traveling until I became a teacher. I'm part of a book club, a bike crew (with my siblings...) and am pretty active in the school I teach at. Sometimes I'm down for an adventure other times I'm just down to hang out at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister had a great experience couch surfing through Portugal. I have only stayed in hostels and small hotels but have never ventured into the world of couch surfing. I'm pretty excited. Unfortunately, I rent a small studio and my landlord isn't too thrilled with the idea of hosting couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished reading the "Shadow of the Wind trilogy" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón and am currently stuck on "Collateral," a Netflix show. Some of my all time favorite movies would have to be the Back to the future trilogy and Lord of the Rings. When it comes to music I have no particular preference. If it sounds awesome or makes me want to dance then I LIKE it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a six week backpacking trip through Europe last summer! I thought that was pretty cool.
