About Me

Even though I am in a wheelchair, my place is not wheelchair friendly. I have two stairs in front my flat that I pull myself up or jump down nevertheless you are free to come, it's doable. Anyone is invited.

Because of Corona I do demand you to be fully vaccinated if you come from a nation where they are easily available. Luckily my carer got her vaccinations so now I can host again without endangering her elderly clients.

I do suffer from Gluten, Histamine, Lactose and Fructose intolerance, so I am forced to bring my own food with me in a cooler and warm it up to eat. Really annoying but I am happy just to know what made so sick and weak for many years! If you are interested, I also suffer from multiple heriditary exotosis which is what puts me really in a wheelchair. It's not too bad. Just painful.

In an emergency I am willing to help. This led to some more longterm visits I guess? But in these trying times finding a place to stay at is difficult. If you do ask to stay longer than usual, please make sure this really is your last option.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many hotels aren't wheelchair friendly at all so finding a place to stay at already is a nightmare. So really it doesnt matter if something is accessible or not. I can crawl and if that doesn't work, I can be dragged. No child left behind haha. I prefer making friends then going on a vacation without meeting anyone. Hospitality and friendliness are very important virtues lost in silly distrust so I want to change that.

Interests

If you are in a wheelchair you need to be much more active or your body will wear out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Michael Ende is the best German Author imo. Other than that mostly high fantasy.

Movies everything goes allthough I am a sucker for movies that screw with your mind.
Music is the same, I do love JDM quite a bit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can let myself down backwards the stairs after one broken elevator too many. And surprise it works! Take that stairs! Now if only going up would be so easy?

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have any questions before your visits like how to get cheap train tickets and what to really do in Germany, feel free to ask.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you need a pick up from the station or whatever, I'm happy to do so, I can take one person for free with me on the train. If you want to do a day trip together I don't. I had some fun trips together with other couchsurfers, so I am flexibel.

If you want you can always join my table tennis training, which is on wednesday evening.
