Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my friends from the US are couchsurfers, so it looks like people from couchsurfing are awesome :)

Interests

Outdoors activity especially if they are social.

Currently if it is windy I go to cape cod for some kitesurfing. I started that three years ago and I am still hooked to that as in spending all my spare money on new equipment that I don't usually really need.

If it is not windy slacklining, tennis, volley with friends or whatever is happening.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I have re-read "Le Comte de Monte Cristo" so I am back to some classics at the moment.

Musically a little bit of everything but folk, indie-rock, jazz (gypsy is the way to go :p) are my favorite. Recently some reggae.

Movies: I watched again Fargo few weeks ago, since then I am obsessed with Minnesota (I know it is stupid) and I want to visit there so bad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day in Thailand I almost crashed my moped into an incautious and hard-headed elephant who appeared suddenly behind a turn in the middle of the road. Lucky him I was able to avoid him (even though I am not sure it would have actually noticed anything), but not lucky me I was not able to avoid the fence on the road side (my arm and ribs noticed)

Also once I was able to multiply two big numbers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn Portuguese, so big plus if you speak this language :) if you don't well you will maybe get to learn a little bit of it.

At the moment I practice quite a lot slacklining, so if we meet you will probably get to try it at some point (if you did not already).

Also I am into cooking, I specially like simple things that are flavorful. Also I most of the time I tend not to follow a recipe but more use whatever I have to accomodate something hopefully good. It doesn't work all the time but sometime you have some good surprises.
