I started showing CS folk around, I was told I should be a tour guide...and then I became one!

Let me make it clear. I want to help travellers, in exchange for the help I received when i travel. No other reason. If you make me feel unsafe, I will stop replying you. I will leave a reference.

List of great people I've met:
- people travelling japan by bicycle, who don't even care if they stay in dirty places
- an architect who could explain japanese buildings
- people who really live the nomad life
- someone taught me chess,
- some people helped me grow confident in hiking
- many helped me see the things i take for granted
- strangers i never met showing up on time, commited to do the activity or event and being nice and normal

But I am not all roses and joy I am honest, and i will also tell you bad experiences i had:
- people who don't commit, flake, and don't communicate about showing up. This is incredible. Like. 30min after the event started, you ask where we are? REALLY...?
- people who insist on making me teach them a language!!! Give it a break and just communicate like a human!
- people who never lived in singapore telling me i'm "not a real singaporean"
I quote: "you don't speak chinese? But everyone in singapore speaks chinese! Are you really singaporean?"
- another quote, different person: Japanese women wear loose clothes. They don't have a lot of curves but I wish they wore tighter clothes because I want to see their figure!
- different (western) person: keeps texting me in chinese, i reply in only english.
- people who are pushy, demanding, entitled

我的中文不好。如果你英文不夠信心我會盡量用中文 but i am a couch SURFING member not a cHiNeSe tEaChEr

I still remain on CS because i want to be open, and meet these great people that have been so inspiring. :) overall i say
25% of the time it's worth it,
25% rude people who waste my time but are physically harmless
30% creepy
20% very dangerously creepy (sending me into panic mode, seriously do i call the cops)

But i know that's life. CS or no CS rude and outright scary people are everyone. At least with CS the % of inspiring people is higher!
