Respect, tolerance, awareness and mindfulness are important to me. I try to reflect on how I live, eat, act and communicate; and the impact this has on my ecological footprint, human and animal rights, and political activism. I tend to feel drawn to people who do the same and always love the opportunity to exchange ideas or learn from them.
I am not a fan of labels and pigeonholing, and I usually have an allergic reaction to hetero-normative behaviour / talk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done quite a bit of surfing as well as hosting and meeting up with other travellers.

I will never forget any of my couchsurfing experiences as they were all great, but especially I will remember the guys who hosted me in the town I later moved to. A great weekend that had quite the influence on my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook reasonably well and I love to so with or for others. I have some basic sailing and snorkelling skills I am happy to share if the opportunity arises. I always love an opportunity to practice any language I am learning. I can drum a little and can teach a group a simple tune in quite little time.
