ABOUT ME

We are an open-minded couple, cheerful, quite talkative (elena, above all...) who likes to meet all kind of people and try to learn something about it. Elena is an enthusiastic person, someone who is just happy with an ice cream (if it´s italian even better...), a glance or a smile at someone´s face. Fernando is a good listener (not only every genre of music but any kind of person) and he likes to cook (and learn to cook) different dishes.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offer a pretty confortable coach in the living room of a nice appartment with views to the lake of Neuchâtel and the Alps (including the Mont Blanc), but the views depend of the weather of course, we can´t do anything if the 'bruillard' comes...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Elena has done House exchanges since she was 12 years old with her parents. It was a really good experience and thanks to that she has travelled lad lot. .
CouchSurfing is not the same thing, but it´s also great if you find the wright person and there´s lots of 'wright' persons... (and we are not talking about politics ;P)We have already met really nice people,we have hosted and couch surfed.

But we actually got interested in lots of different things, love to try new activities, new food, etc.

Love Jim Jarmusch 'Mistery Train', Jason Reitman 'Juno', François Ozon... (just getting to know some good directors...)
Rock&Roll, Reggae, Ska, Jazz, Country music... (we hear different stuff and Elena plays music since she was 8...the sax is her instrument).
The french existencialism (Beckett´s novels, Camus...), Dostoievski´s novels ('The Idiot'), Jorge Luis Borges (elena loves almost everything that he´s written), Jose Angel González ('Un mundo exasperado'), we like books of history and some poetry too...

Camping in the natural reserve of Tayrona´s park (Colombia). Live in different countries with different languages and cultures.

TEACH: (Elena): Spanish, that´s my language and that´s what I study... so I think (or at least I hope!) I can help you with that...
(Fernando): I can teach you how to comunicate better with your computer, it´s like a person who you have to take care of!
