Hi there! My name is illy and I am a 21 year old living in Canada. I'm taking a few years off to truly figure out what it is I love to do before I go to post secondary. The only thing at the moment that fulfils me the most is travelling! I've been doing more and more travelling as time goes on but finally have been set on doing longer departures, such as Europe for 4 months! Being from Europe myself I'm very cultured and absolutely love learning about other countries, their languages and meeting new people! I feel couch surfing is an amazing source for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because as a 21 year old I'm on a budget but love to travel, I don't want money stopping me from doing so, so I stumbled upon the couch surfing website and fell in love with the idea of staying with a local and getting to know someone within the city/country I'm staying in!

Music, Movies, and Books

I truly love a little bit of everything when it comes to music weather it's country, hip hop, rock and roll etc, whatever appeals to the ear, I listen to! As for movies, I'm into comedy (because who doesn't love a good laugh), action filled such as fast and furious and my all time favs, Rocky, Scarface, Wolf of Wall Street. can't forget the classics such as Titanic too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far as for something amazing I've done would have to be the 9 hour hike back home in Canada, it really tested me physically and I showed myself that if I push myself I can really get to where I'm going, and not to mention the view was totally worth it! I do have to say there is lots more crazy amazing things I want to try such as bungee jumping and sky diving so... stay tuned :)
