Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cos a home is warmer than a hostel. Would love to venture new places with perspectives of a local. Every soul has a story worth telling. If only I had a lifetime to get to know each of them, yet retreat to my private space to rest, introspect or gaze at nothing and everything (fair warning).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cooking for my host and his kid in Bristol a Singaporean Fried Rice using ingredients I bought from the market (when I barely cook at home) it was actually delicious!

& I don’t think I can ever top the feeling of breathing underwater for the first time during my Open Water Course in Mabul, Sabah.

Teach: How to play the ukulele/guitar
Learn: Would love to learn to cook local dishes, speak a different tongue or something random like learning to farm or take care of your pet
Share: What we call Singlish. Experiences from travelling and SEA regions. If you are interested in the magazine industry. Or if you are lucky, durian.

Experiences from back home. Singlish. My attempts at cooking (need to learn more recipes from my mum cos she’s the bestest). Based on how comfortable I am with meeting new people but I’ll try my very best.
