We’re a French couple, 23 and 25 years old, currently taking a gap year from our studies. We made this choice together, wanting to step outside the academic routine and experience something different. Our main goal is to improve our language skills, especially in English, while discovering new ways of living, thinking, and connecting with people. We’re not looking for luxury or perfectly planned trips, what matters most to us is authenticity, meaningful exchanges, and unforgettable experiences. This year is a turning point for both of us, personally and as a couple.

We’re on Couchsurfing because we enjoy simple, genuine, human experiences. Instead of staying in impersonal hotels, we prefer meeting people, having real conversations, and sharing spontaneous moments.
We’re not just looking for a place to sleep, we’re here to exchange stories, share a meal, or just connect.
Maybe we’re a bit different from the usual way of traveling, but that’s exactly what we love: a more meaningful, human way to explore the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love traveling ! Whether it’s to discover new cultures, try different foods, or simply get a change of scenery. My boyfriend and I try to go away whenever we can, even for short trips. We enjoy both big cities and more nature-based spots, as long as it allows us to disconnect from everyday life. What we like most is planning everything ourselves: finding the best deals, nice places to stay, local activities and sometimes just going with the flow once we’re there. It’s a passion we truly share as a couple, and it helps us grow together.
