Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is embraced by the process of “production” and “consumption of places”. Today, the main components that make it possible to “fulfill” the modern global culture include a hotel buffet, a pool, a cocktail, a beach, an airport lounge and a bronze tan. This platform provides an opportunity not only to look at a country or city with a “tourist's eye”, but also to plunge into a cultural context.
