About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live and work in Brazil!!! So gotta learn Portuguese asap...
ABOUT ME
my worldview is simple: we're all connected, you and i are brothers and sisters, and i love you :)
every day is a gift and should be lived like an adventure!
i began traveling when i was 16 and went to Africa, where i made lifelong friends. then when i was 18 i backpacked around the world and lived in Spain. since then, i've visited more places in Latin America while managing to finish school and start a cool career.
my next travels: when i graduate in 3 months, i have half a year to learn Portuguese in Brazil and explore the Caribbean!
PHILOSOPHY
"Through travel I first became aware of the outside world; it was through travel that I found my own introspective way into becoming a part of it."
- Eudora Welty
“I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
- Henry David Thoreau

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
favorite CS experiences:
May 2011 - Spain
- stayed with Piervittorio and his lovely flatmates in Sevilla, where we enjoyed homecooked Korean food with very Italian people :)
January 2009 - Peru
- traveled with Kat, Trisha, and Lionel and took a boat together up the Amazon... refused to pee into my plastic dinner bowl while lying down in hammock
April 2008 - France/Spain
- hitchhiked with a crazy Aussie named Yasmin... waited 5 hours with no success to get out of Paris, successfully reached Barcelona after a pampered week of hitching with truck drivers
January 2008 - Morocco
- met for coffee, hookah, and other things with Marouane in Marrakesh... walked miles and miles around the king's palace in vain search for entrance, and together learned valuable life lessons from a dreadlocked, elderly, radical, border-line anarchist French man we met while drinking cinnamon tea
