ABOUT ME

Traveling is my passion. I'll do almost anything it takes to get to where I want to go. Living in Alaska these last few years has only fueled my wanderlust. I work seasonally during the summer in Juneau, AK for a helicopter company. Since I have most of the fall and autumn off, I use those months to travel and spend time with family and friends before I get back to work. I'm very easy-going and low maintenance. I try to be a considerate guest and I don't like to impose. But I love meeting new people and swapping stories about life experiences and past and future travel destinations.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good (most of the time), and do good (always).
Also, treat others how I would want to be treated.

Unfortunately at the moment, my roommate is uncomfortable with me hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been using CS really regularly for almost 7 years now! So far I've just been using the site to meet people around town or surfer who happen to be in town. I've met some really amazing people and made life-long friendships thanks to the site. Something interesting that happened since I joined CS is that I met a long-lost relative who happened to be living just outside of Asheville. Crazy!

兴趣

I am addicted to live music, especially if it's free. I enjoy watching and discussing films (I'm a film studies major). I also enjoy reading, hiking, riding my motorcycle, and being around interesting people.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: I like classics. Casablanca is my favorite film, but I'll watch anything at least once. I'm also really into experimental films, or ones that are really strange. I've been appreciating the regular CS Movie Nights in Sydney.
Music: Anything live and preferably free.
Books: Right now I'm reading the Game of Thrones series. But I like to read, so if you've got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them :)

I sat on the steps of the easternmost corner of the main temple at Ankor Wat to watch the sunrise. While I was waiting, bats were coming in to roost and swooping over my head. The sound of their approaching wings were amazing in the predawn calm.
