About Me

I'm 25 years old, started my master's in 2015 and hoping to finish in 2017. Before this I took a gap year and had some awesome travel experiences. I am always restless to go to different places, meet nice people, and have awesome experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing while traveling in the USA when I was 18 years old (in 2009). I'd never heard of couchsurfing, but a friend of mine suggested it as a fun and easy way to meet and hang out with local people. The experience of couchsurfing across the USA really enriched my the way I traveled, changed me as a person for the better, and it has been my preferred way to see a country ever since.
Meeting people and learning about their culture and experiences is my absolute favorite thing about traveling, and couchsurfing is the best way to do that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up and down Grand Canyon with two friends, which was great and sparked my love for hiking.

I also spent a semester (2014) studying in Korea, and that has thought me above all, friends can be found anywhere in the world (and you will miss them like crazy).

Another thing (a lot of amazing things have happened, I guess I'm lucky ^_^), I spent 2 weeks roadtripping on Iceland with people I've met through couchsurfing. It was an amazing experience to see Iceland and I made some great friends :)

I can't wait to meet more people, and learn from you! :)
