ABOUT ME

I grew up in Belgium, among my best friends and family. Finding out my real passions, ambitions and strengths, happened in the second part of my life. While I was living in Brussels, Antwerp and the Netherlands, while traveling through Canada, Iceland and Scandinavia. Now I’m eager to start My Life III. Moving to another country, growing as a marketeer, getting inspired by new friends and keeping in touch with everything precious to me from My Life I & II. That’s my life. What was, is and will be!

& ... this one is from Walt Disney, but is just a perfect way to live by: dream, dare, do. I even created a personal tattoo on my foot & wrist all around that phrase!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will look for inspiring places and tourism/leisure concepts. And share them on my website and other interesting & related websites. With this I hope to inspire others, as much as being inspired by people I meet during my travels. Just as to inspire or be inspired by people I meet through the CS project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard a lot about CouchSurfing yet, but have no experience with it yet...

Interests

I like:
- dancing and teaching dance: to be creative at it, to enjoy the fun of it & to have a good sweat!
- being creative & busy as a marketer, by preference in the leisure & tourism industry.
- traveling: because I like to get to know new places, find out the stories behind them and enjoy intensive hikes in the mountains & other wild nature.
- history, philosophy, anthropology; I am interested in getting to know, understanding & redefining so much more!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have enjoyed all of what I've done. And I hope to keep on working & living while loving my work & life. Some highlights:
- traveling on my own for the first time, all across Canada
- backpacking across Iceland & haven't felt alone one single day
- creating an innovation & marketing project in Holland that seemed to inspire a lot of people
- moving to the Netherlands and building a whole new life & friends

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit of dance & aerobics. And I read as much as I can to get to know more of marketing, trends, the leisure & tourism industry, the creative industry & sustainable management. I like to learn more about that all, but I also like to share the bit I know about it.
