CURRENT MISSION

Trying to combine traveling and family-work-life

Who we are:

We are four Germans, René and Monique, Alina and Tim - life-lovers, explorers and adventurers (but we know our limits). We love life and TRAVELING as everybody who`s visiting this website.
Our two kids Alina and Tim were born 2015 and 2017 - after we were on an extensive world trip on motorbike and bicycles.

We`d like to show our children the differences and beauty of this world: how different people/families live, how different food can taste and we want them to experience life-time-learning. Whenever possible we`re doing little hikes or cycle rides with the kids during our holidays and spend time camping in nature.

Monique: talkative, outgoing, passionate, loves food, smiles, thunderstorms, hot chocolate and a clear winter day, loves staying on the summit after a long climb

Rene: thinks before he talks but can be talkative, always sees the positve site of life, loves taking photos and discuss technical things, likes a good skiing day in crystal clear air, enjoys cooking

- we are not too much in parties and no big alcohol drinkers
- we have no diet needs

We are interested in exchanges of different points of view, about your way of life and your travel stories! So please dont`t ask to be hosted for only getting a free bed in town ;)

We plan to get back into hosting people from autumn 2019 onwards - after a longer family-related break.

We are both keen readers even though we don`t have the time anymore with our two kids.

Music: we do listen to a lot of stuff which is actual on the radio. Heavy music (like metal) is not too much in our shelf - Rene likes some gothic. And we are both very keen on the campfire-guitar-pure-music.

Movies: "Prescilla" and "Red Dog" in Australia, "Into the wild", Till Schweiger movies, "Slumdog Millionaire"

Nightdive in Thailand - amazing !!! Cycling in snow in AUSTRALIA :o) And catching a croc instead of a fish in downunder.
