To immerse myself amongst the culture of countries i will be visting and see life from the locals perspective

ABOUT ME

Well, last year i resigned from a high paying financial controller job with a big oil company in Australia and decided to travel indefinitely. I sold my car and gave away most of my clothes to charity. 6 months and 15 countries later and i am now working in Moscow. My main motivation for couch surfing is to immerse myself amongst locals, so as to truly experience life in a particular country, rather than be in a hostel with other travellers. Im a non-smoker.

PHILOSOPHY

One can only grow as a person when outside of the comfort zone.

Ive been all over the world except south america, with the highlights so far being Ausralia, the Balkans and Hawaii.
