About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want people to know about Russia's hidden beauties.

ABOUT ME

Hi to all! I am a Malaysian student, currently studying at a medical university in Moscow. Talking about my personality, I enjoy meeting people, new and old, and am really glad to accept guests. Most of the time I try to become a good listener, just as I would love to expect my friends to be. Chatting is one of my favourite pastimes.

I love my motherland, Malaysia, very much. That is the place where I will live all my life and be buried. Thus I love to show people around how beautiful my country is, and besides, I also love to travel around (in the process, meeting new people) and experience different cultures from around the world. That is why I joined the CS.

PHILOSOPHY

As a foreigner myself, I strongly believe in two proverbs that agree to each other in terms of meaning:
1. Malay: Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik di negeri sendiri ( Even if it is raining gold in another country, and raining stone in our country, our country is still the best )
2. Russian : В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше
(It is good to be a guest, but whatever it is, the best is being at home)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The city of Saint Petersburg, Russia is undeniably the most beautiful city I have seen in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

-Learn to respect others and their values. Freedom of speech is not an excuse. We must have the sense of responsibility towards those who might be offended with our words, before we throw them out.

-Learn how to become a good listener.

-The more friends we have, the more new people we meet, the better. There's a Russian proverb about this:
"Не имей сто рублей, а имей сто друзей"
(Don't try to own 100 rubles, but find 100 friends).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Malaysia, Russian Federation
