Overview
About Me
Okay, so a bunch of random facts about me, since I find it hard to describe myself. I am active, open-minded and responsible.
Traveling from young age, but only recently I started going abroad with friends rather than family. Love to take my time in travels and enjoy nature or the city view with no rush.
I believe in leaving the place better than it was before you arrived.
I am a third year student in the University of Latvia, went for a semester abroad for an Erasmus exchange in Germany, Mainz.
My favourite way of procrastination is either a great book or another season of a popular tv-series. Also, drawings that turn into painting and randomly deciding to make muffins or brownies from scratch, when times are stressful.
The ultimate life goal is to make the world a better place. Also, I usually am the mama-bear of the group.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe in the small good things in this world, in all the good forces returning back to help you later in life. Also, it is a recommended way of saving a bit of money and of meeting a culture in a more explicit manner.
Interests
From what I have not said in other sections, I both value a good night's sleep and can stay sleep-less for a marathon of a good tv-series binge-watching. One of my recent favourites being GoT, the 100, Vikings, the Crown, Originals; all-time-favourites being Friends, HIMYM, Doctor Who, (BBC) Sherlock, Supernatural. I prefer baking sweets and pastries over simple cooking as a process itself. Not professional with photography but I like the work to be able to speak for itself, to do more than just convey the information, to carry on the emotions captured in that moment. For roadtrips the choice of healthy snacks and good atmospheric and sing-along music is essential.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music of course depends on the mood: Arctic Monkeys, Queen, Imagine Dragons, One Republic and so for days when to be active; Roo Panes, Hozier, Birdy and other indie acoustics for emotional and calm moments and classical music for studying.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized an event for 2 thousand people crowd in a month. (Felt amazing at the time with television, academically important people, student enthusiasm and all)
Teach, Learn, Share
Language exchange is always a go, I usually take some sweets from my home country with me, also can offer stories from where I've been. I enjoy cooking and can share a meal. From less useful skills, I draw a bit, knit a bit, edit videos and images a bit, know how and where to pick teas and mushrooms (big thing in Latvia), bit of this and that, I am happy to talk about all of this, if you're interested.
