CURRENT MISSION
Living the Small Town Life
ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Julie, I am a french canadian who has exiled to BC a couple of years ago (not that there is anything wrong with Québec, it's wonderful and everyone should check it out!) After living in Vancouver for a bit, my partner Evan and I decided to try to live in a small town, and job opportunities took us to beautiful Golden, BC. So about me, I love travelling (obviously), meeting new people, and discovering new places. I enjoy a day of drinking coffee, good conversations with tasty foods, roadtrips and outdoor adventures. I am really interested in anything related to sustainability, and would love to learn more about sustainable lifestyles.
PHILOSOPHY
- Enjoy, nobody ever leaves this world alive...
- As my gym teacher used to say: the most painful thing is regret...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed in England, Ireland and Scotland, the US and Canada, and only had positive experiences!
I try to host as much as I can, depending on my schedule. I want to be an available and helpful host, and make people feel comfortable in my home. I also like meeting for a drink when I cannot host.
