One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It’s hard to express how it is to be in the same train, same carriage with sometimes same people for 4 days. Trans-Siberian railway is the longest railway in the World. I could not make it till the end and stopped in the middle of Siberia, the city Omsk. During these 4 days from Moscow to Omsk, I have done pretty much nothing. I have read a book; listened to a radio; do a village-seeing; a forests-seeing; a fields-seeing; trying to talk a bit with other passengers... Apart from the incredible boredom, there is another problem – hunger. Because it’s usually 10-days journey, it is impossible to get enough food from the beginning of the trip. Your food finishes on day 3 and then you have the only option, to hop off quickly from the train on stops and buy some food from old women, who sell sandwiches, fruits and vegetables. To make their sandwiches less dusty from upcoming and ongoing trains, they just... LICK IT! Horrible, isn’t it? Back to Europe I decided to catch a plane.
