Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am travelling the world in search of artists with a social cause
ABOUT ME
I am travelling with my partner (Jacqueline Lounsbury) in order to participate in socially-engaged art projects on the international scene. I am trained in many disciplines (please visit my website, www.imagici.org) with a consistent focus on the essence of spirited and intense artworks. I love diversity and enjoy discussing parallels and insights into an artist's work, their personality, culture, interests, etc. I would love to know more about your creative self and your potential!
PHILOSOPHY
Art broadens and deepens our living experience. Art is of critical importance to reversing ignorance and tragedies and developing our humanity, our senses.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The next phase of my art career involves a more international community for artists. A couch is nice (as soon as I can afford a home in San Francisco!) but I am also looking to create grant/residency opportunities for artists in the Bay Area. Stay tuned . . . !
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to the CS Project but this community is an integral piece to the success of what I hope to form for artists visiting the Bay Area. I have many friends/roommates who can positively vouch for my non-CS cohabitation. Thank you, in advance for helping me start this project and I look forwardto speaking with you.
Interests
Performance art, Earth art, outsider art, guerilla art, art therapy, movement and contact dance forms, alchemy, the moon, experimental theater, travel, all things cultural, diletante and esoteric philosophy.

Teach, Learn, Share
Artists: especially with a specialization in a technique I have yet to be exposed to (i.e. glass etching/blowing, movement/dance, textiles.) As my own experience goes, I love the personalities of ceramicists and steel workers. I have very in-depth experience with art therapy in the United States and Europe and I am looking to share my expertise in continuing this cross-cultural phenomenon. Artmaking and healing are ancient traditions and I am researching/promoting this field as much more than a modern trend.
