About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Searching for magic in all corners of my life. Trying to figure out how to take care of the earth and myself. Be creative but also mindful. But mostly I just end up being silly.
ABOUT ME
I'm a young female-type person currently living in San Francisco.
I am a storyteller who happened to choose film as the way to tell those stories. Sometimes my films make sense and people even like them, but sometimes I get the, "I don't get it stare." I'm fine with both!
When I was younger I thought I was a complicated mystical person of considerable depth. I still think that, except for now it's more like the planet is complicated, mystical, and has considerable depth and I'm just a person getting to experience it all.
I also think taxes are really complicated and mystical as well. So there's that.
PHILOSOPHY
That everything is both divinely sacred and utterly ridiculous. Just depends how you're looking. And how long you look.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had no experience with hosting or surfing! Well, either then hearing and then living vicariously through friends who have experienced and loved Couchsurfing.
Interests
Historical geography, dessert, typography, pineapple, magical realism, mac and cheese, video editing (motion graphics +fx), sweet onion kettle chips, maps, talking to strangers when I have the guts, taking naps in the sun, marathons (of the movie variety), patterns, making pies.

Music, Movies, and Books
The current playlist I am listening to is called weeaboo trash, so make musical taste judgements as you will.
I am really picky about the movies I love, but I will watch anything with glee.
Books: Lady Oracle, Poisonwood Bible, Wormholes, Howls Moving Castle, When We Were Orphans, Many Waters, Nonviolent Communication, Inkheart, Blind Willow Sleeping Woman, House of Spirits.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a filmmaker, but I make my living by being a video editor and photographer. I'd be happy to teach you anything you'd like to know, whether it be technical knowledge, (I know Adobe PS, AI, AE, PR, extremely well) or if you just want something more general. (Searching for good lighting, what makes a shot magical, how to organize projects, etc.)
