ABOUT ME

I live in Sonora, ca. It is a medium size town at the foot of the mountains. Close (30 min) to skiing, and beautiful mountain hikes.. I love to travel. I have seen a lot of the world and all it has done is increased the itch to see more. believe in God, and love seeing his creations, so, despite my love of exploring cultures, my favorite places are still the natural ones.

I love political discussions, but they are best had with a cold beer and background noise - I will buy the first round. When I travel I don't mind seeing the nightlife as long as it doesn't get in the way of me seeing the place the next day. I still prefer a dinner and conversation most of the time though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

a few unplanned couch surfing like experiences, and only one true couch surfing experience. It was a great time in Strausburg with Alain. I have also spent some time with the great Trier Group

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lots of "one things" sleeping on a beach in the middle of the merqui archipelago in Myanmar, canyoning in Interlaken, scuba diving the Indian ocean, watching the sunset at the giants causeway in N Ireland, Hiking the fjords of Norway, sitting in the middle of the California wilderness.
