ABOUT ME

I try to approach life calmly and with a level head...but it's just so darn full of opportunities that I jump for joy when I find myself on a path I wasn't expecting to be on. I have something of a beginners mind, meaning I ask lots of questions and let my curiosity guide me towards exploring life. I follow the 7 grandfather teachings towards becoming a better human being, as I figure they're fairly standard across cultures. My interests are diverse, but my interest in the natural world is ever growing and will always be a big part of my life. Every single day is different for me... I like to consider myself well travelled...and I have many stories of cosmically quirky experiences and meetings with others. I'm a little bit of everybody I've ever met, and if you're a good person, I'd be honoured if that next person I learn something from will be you!

PHILOSOPHY

My life is my own and as such, I live as free as I can in the constant pursuit of happiness.
I believe happiness is easy to find as long as one takes the time to get to know themselves
There are alwyas obstacles, given, but be creative! Be positive! Explore and experiment with different options and theres always a way.
I'll always be a learner as I embrace my curiosity about how this thing called life works. Its a work in progress!

I enjoy connecting with people as I travel through couch surfing and when not on the move, I'm always happy to invite others to stay with me and share their experiences

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This community is the lynch pin for many of my travels. I have been able to visit friend whom I've never met before, knowing that I can trust the place I go will offer both an enriching experience and a safe place to stay. Always a pleasure to be involved

Every year I live in a new place: cottaging areas in the north of ontario, tree planting in British Columbia Canada, in the Jungles of Honduras, hitchiking through from Peru to Canada, East coase sustainability education centers, working in Guantanamo Cuba...soon more!
