About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be present and available to the beautiful things life has to offer.
ABOUT ME
My favorite things in the world are food and nature. Food is a huge part of my life. I work at Concordia University to increase the amount of local and sustainable food served on campus. It's a fantastic job. In the past, I lived on a farm and coordinated farmers' markets.
PHILOSOPHY
To travel is to return to the essential.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both surfed and hosted. I'm not hosting for the moment, but would love to do it again once I'm settled in my new place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in the United States, Canada and France, and hosted people from Austria, Australia and Canada.
Interests
The outdoors (water or montain, I like it all)! I had the chance of living in the Canadian Rockies for two summers, and it was amazing. Recently, I've been doing a lot of yoga and canoeing. Separetely! I'll have to work on my balance to be able to combine the two.
Traveling! It enriches my life. There are so many places to see and so many good folks to meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the sound of the cello. I also love folk and bluegrass music.
My favorite read this year was Nine Stories, of J.D. Salinger.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scrambling mountains, drinking yerba mate in Argentina, living on a farm for eight months and making friend with heart-warming people.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are so many things I would like to learn about! Let's prepare a meal together and share information.
