Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Surya. Used to live in Jakarta. But, right now I am in Aussie.
In my super fast-paced life, I try to open this app to inspire me to explore new places to keep my work-life balance. I usually spend my free time travelling, reading, writing, or cafe hopping. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to meet new local friends and have a fantastic vacation experience.
Couchsurfing, do your magic!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing because I believe this community will create a good environment for travellers to meet and share.
Through Couchsurfing, I can meet the local community to gain experience, knowledge, and recommendations for my travel destination. In addition, Couchsurfing also allows me to stay with local hosts and get first-hand information from them, such as culture, cuisine, and hidden gems that need to be visited.
Couchsurfing provides an opportunity for me to make friends with people from all over the globe. May couchsurfing continue to inspire us to explore and be more grateful for the beauty of this world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a founder and social community activist, I am heavily involved in developing disadvantaged communities. There are several activities that I have created, such as learning houses and communication communities to share knowledge. Through Couchsurfing, I want to continue hearing amazing stories from travellers worldwide.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my experience, knowledge, and skills in communications, public policy, and culture.
I also enjoy learning new things, such as cultures and languages, and we can share fun experiences on the trip together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As an impromptu traveller, I usually book a hostel for myself but don't insist on the possibility of staying with a local host. What can I offer? Not much, but we can share knowledge, experiences, and skills. Making good friendships is also an added value for our lives in the future.
