Until recently, I used to work for a energy trading company based in New York, which meant spending 8 hours staring at a screen every day, and I was beginning to feel burnt out. I realized that this was not the kind of lifestyle I wanted for myself, and so I decided to save up and become a digital nomad, embarking on a life of adventure and creativity.

For instance, I am currently learning 3D animation as a hobby, which will allow me to express my creativity and explore new ideas, and writing some ideas I've wanted to portray in a book.

Ultimately, the idea of discovering what life is about and why we exist always keeps me going. I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, and I am excited to see where the universe takes me next.

I get inspiration from all the people I get to know, always learning something from them, even an unnecessary random fact that one day will be unexpectedly useful. For this reason Couchsurfing is perfect for me, because it is a great opportunity for sharing.

We have to make great moments happen, not just wait for them, and Couchsurfing is a good pretext to make them happen.

To be honest, I don't even know why the universe is taking me to your computer screen or maybe your house, but I am sure there is a reason and I am excited to find out. Most of the time it happen to be an amazing exchange in which you learn something from me and I learn something from you.

I love to cook, travel, films, concerts, meditate, and read about various subjects such as sociology, philosophy, anthropology, psychology, and economics.

Apart from my main job, I write screenplays, essays, and stories. I have even made some short films that have participated in film festivals. These creative pursuits has always brought me great joy, and after so many years, I am finally eager to transition from my office job to a more creative one to give more of myself to the world.

My taste in arts is quite unusual but sophisticated and will be extremely happy to share a similar taste.

I enjoy listening to atmospheric and experimental sounds with a mix of electronic and acoustic elements. I am drawn towards atmospheric post-rock and indie music, with Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Radiohead, Blonde Redhead, Bjork and Arcade Fire being my top picks. Their ethereal yet visually stimulating sounds and melodies resonate with your taste for emotive and immersive music.

In terms of literature, I enjoy are philosophical and mystical themes mostly. I prefer authors who explore existential and psychological questions, as well as the complexities of the human condition. I also appreciate writers with a unique and introspective writing style, who challenge conventional thinking and ideas. Miguel de Unamuno's "Niebla" (Translated as Fog or Mist) has left a lasting impact on me, with its existential themes and commentary on the human condition.

As for movies, I have a penchant for both artistic and challenging cinema. I enjoy movies that delve into complex themes and unique approaches in storytelling. Alfonso Cuarón's "Children of Men" is my favorite. The dystopian thriller's gritty realism and socio-political commentary captivate me. The film's action scenes and thriller narrative interwoven with its deep themes make for an engrossing cinematic experience. I also appreciate Wes Anderson, Pedro Almodovar, Darren Aronofsky, Kryztof Kieslowski, Stanley Kubrick, Jean-Luc Godard.

Cooking is also another one of my passions, and I always love sharing my culinary creations with others.
