ABOUT ME

I was born on Long Island, and have spent most of my life there. I was fortunate enough to have parents who loved to travel, so in my childhood I've visited a lot of the United States, but not very many other countries. Now that I'm on my own, I want to take what time I have to experience the places and cultures of Asia, Australia, South America, and tons of other places!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have any major personal philosophy; I want to have fun and do whatever makes me happy at the moment. Now that I've graduated from school, I feel like I need to see more of the world, so I want to travel and learn about different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted people a few times when I lived in San Francisco, and was hosted in Melbourne and Portland. I've attended a number of couchsurfing meetups, and I like to get involved with the couchsurfing community wherever I go!

Interessen

Food, culture, and candy of the world. I love learning about the differences between different cultures, and absorbing the culture shock when traveling from place to place.

My favorite movies are Memento, The Game, and The Usual Suspects.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Climbing Mt. Fuji overnight and arriving at the top just in time for sunrise. It was freezing the whole way up, but when I finally saw the sun climb out from beyond the horizon, it was all worth it.
