Keeping up with our 1- and 4-year-olds, doing my teaching diploma at UVic, playing lots of music, and fixing up our old house.

ABOUT ME

I live in a little house close to downtown with my girlfriend Leslie and our sons Rupert and Jude. I played in a rock band called Immaculate Machine that did a lot of travelling all over N. America and Europe (and even China once) for 7 years. Now I play with a bunch of local music projects. I love learning languages. I have been vegetarian my whole life and vegan for 10 years, but I am not on a crusade or anything. I have a day job doing energy efficiency assessments of people's houses. I'm working on becoming a French Immersion teacher.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Leslie and I heard about CouchSurfing.com when we were desperate for a place in Sweden, and now we are really excited to participate more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a ton of unofficial couch surfing experience through my band, usually organized at the merch table or through friends or fans. I have put up a lot of bands in exchange when they come through Victoria.

We have had a few couples, from Belgium and France, stay with us in the last few years.

I am lucky for all the great shows I have played and people I have worked with all over the world. Becoming a dad has also been a real adventure!
