About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see what is out there, learn spanish!

ABOUT ME

Just got back from Peru after a two year Peace Corps service. Now I am figuring out what come next...

I am an easy going guy, I like the outdoors, meeting new people. I will try any new food once, as long as it isn't moving :) Wasn't a big fan of mondongo, I don't recommend it.

I really like to smile.

PHILOSOPHY

Do something, anything, to make the world a better place, and more importantly: have fun doing it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past I have hosted people and helped with border crossing (Peru/Ecuador), met people for coffee or to go hang out on the beach. I plan on taking a trip soon, so I will hopefully be meeting great CS'ers along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spain March 21-28, 2009 I enjoyed it thoroughly
Met some awesome CS'ers!

Hosted a few people traveling through Peru over the past two years. Looking forward to doing some traveling myself. : )

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music, and music in general.

I like almost all genres but I really get into rock and acoustic guitar. Jazz and blues come in a close second.

I also like Salsa music, just starting to learn how to dance but I really like the music.

I love reading but I am bad at pacing myself, If I get into a new book, chances are that I will stay up the entire night until I finish it. Hooray for coffee!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The great migration of wildebeests from a hot air balloon in Kenya.

I love the outdoors, Grand teton national park in wyoming was awesome. I also love camping. Spending a week on a canoe in the boundary waters in Canada was amazing and beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little guitar, used to be pretty good at the trumpet, and I am pretty decent at stuff having to do with Civil Engineering.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Kenya, Mexico, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Peru, United States
