Gonna skydive on all the 7 continents before my last breath..........!
ABOUT ME
Oh bugger...
I'm a travel bug and it first started off when my heart was really shattered in 2008, thus I decided it was too much pain and that I needed a long break away from home. My first solo backpacking vacation was spent in New Zealand and Australia - amidst dense forestry and rocky mountains and deep plunging waterfalls and steep scary glaciers and interstate cycling and deathdefying skydives. Thereafter, I ate and breathed and talked travel ever since
Hsving been through that much during my travels, I actually developed as a better human being. Of course I got curvy and toned from all that trekking and stuff... But as a whole, I learnt to trust, compromise and go with the flow!
Can't wait to jet off again...!
PHILOSOPHY
Live to learn, only then will you learn to live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Melbourne, my very first host had a way cool home that was converted from a warehouse, it had high ceilings, whacked up exteriors, smooth parquet flooring and really stucked out in the neighbourhood. Plus he showed me the best quesidillas, Australia's very own beer and indie style backyard bars. I was so mesmerized I wanted to stay on and maybe rent a room from him and dump the whole "backpacking experience" hahaha well eventually I got out of it, its a beautiful place, would love to go back to Melbourne!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Got my sale flight, paid for it, dumped everything into my backpack and shocked everyone by announcing I was leaving
2. Gathered all of the little courage I had and skydived in Australia :)
3. Survived a gruelling 4day hike amidst freezing levels with no heaters or baths available and a pair of ill fitting tramping boots and eating jelly sandwiches for all meals in New Zealand
4. Got all drunk and crazy partying with strangers in bustling Bangkok, waking up to remember nothing and nothing at all!
5. Hitchhiked a dozen times in the safest and dangerous places trusting my life in God :)
6. Smoked magic 'shrooms we picked up from the roadside in NZ :O
7. Rode a racehorse but I wasn't the jockey ;)

Unity
It never fails to awe me everytime I'm at the airport arrivals, no matter in Singapore or Australia or New Zealand or whichever corner of the world, anytime, anyday. The warmth and tingles, shrieks of happiness, longing, months or even years of waiting, throws of hugs and streams of tears that overflow, when people are reunited with their loved ones, families and friends.
That, is something technology fails to deliver, no matter how advanced our Facebook or Twitter gets, technology can never transmit such kindredness...
