A friend I met recently told me about couch surfing, and a joined straight away! Volunteering in Nepal I did a home stay and it was one of the best things I've done. Best way to connect with the community and emerge yourself into the culture. I'm currently in Cambodia now, and I don't look for the big party scenes but for the local spots, and chill with the locals and it's been the best part of this trip. Also as a amateur photographer, I love doing projects with stories and I love meeting new people.
