About Me

I'm a big hearted extroverted introvert from Chicago. I teach Lego Engineering to students across the city and I work in United's Polaris Lounge at O'Hare Airport. I love great art, music, movies, people and all the whirlwind of emotions we encounter by living and loving well. I really fucking enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to find homes and friends around the world. I don't care to travel as a tourist would, but would much rather stay with strangers who may soon become family and can really introduce me to their home unlike any resort tour guide looking to get paid.

Through travel, life becomes a combination of destinations, interactions, concepts, opportunities, friendships, challenges and realities that were once so very foreign or unknown to me. I hope that after many years of travel, the entire world will begin to feel like home. And it’s the resulting diversity of experiences and people in my life that ultimately lead to an increased appreciation of all that I encounter during my adventures.

Simply put: to escape my hometown and meet more expansive individuals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lived in Jamaica for 9 months. I volunteered at a farm in rural Sav-La-Mar, worked at Reggae Hostel in Ochi Rios, and traveled most of the island. Proud to call Jamaica home away from home. Blessed they accept me as family.

Teach, Learn, Share

Clean and helpful around the house. Looking to get to know artists. Love people who are down to vibe and connect through music, art, food, literature and good conversation. I'm down to explore! I also take LOTS of photos.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Memories! I'm always taking photographs and would love to share my eye with you :-) I'm also prone to share my heart with others. I'm a lover and a healer... I believe in creating sincere, safe spaces where people can just be themselves. We only get one shot at this life, be free to feel as weird as you want to be.
