ABOUT ME

My have Estonian heritage and it's a big part of who I am. I attend an Estonian camp every year and am slightly obsessed with all things Estonian

The travel bug bit me hard in 2009 so I was on the road for 18 months.. Edmonton-Calgary-Vermillion-Sydney-Johannesberg-Drakensberg-Durban-Pretoria-London-Paris-Oslo-Riga-Tallinn-Pärnu-Tartu-Nõva-Viljandi-Stockholm-Valencia-Raquena-Buñol-Barcelona-LA-Vancouver-Calgary-Edmonton-Yellowknife-Toronto-Guelph-Boston-New York-Cincinnati-Knoxville-LA-Sydney

Since I left school I've studied Outdoor Recreation, worked at school camps (in Australia) and Summer camp (in Canada) and worked at a pub in London. I'm currently a Travel Agent for STA Travel at the base of the Blue Mountains

Interessen

My ideal day would involve rolling over in my tent to watch the sun rise over the ocean, boiling the billy for my first cup of never-ending green tea. The sun will continue to rise into a spectacular sunny day which will compliment my long drive (with pumped up summer tunes) to a pub where I will meet a foreigner with an accent and they will teach me the entirety of their language. We'll feast upon more green tea and maybe some chai and soy snacks to fill the stomach. Before the pub I will lie on the sand and listen to the sound of the waves whist reading smut. Eventually I will head back home and curl up in bed with a body-sized pillow (if the foreigner from the pub isn't up for a snuggle) and watch movies or TV shows on my laptop while burning essential oils until I fall into a deep slumber late in the night

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music- It has been Triple J non-stop lately. On my iPod at the moment I have Art vs Science, Beastie Boys, Grouplove, Friendly Fires, Skrillex, the Drums, Girl Talk, Bon Iver, Fear Before, Ellesquire, Hot Chip and San Cisco

When I travelled through Canada & the States I chose to listen to only music that came from that city/area I was travelling in/through eg Beastie Boys & Vampire Weekend in NYC. It really gave me a feel of where the artists were coming from in creating their sounds :)

Movies- I download movies like there's no tomorrow, anything and everything

TV Shows- Dexter, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Man vs Food, Family Guy, the Simpsons, True Blood, Skins

Books- Anything and everything. I never remember titles of books once I finish them. At the moment I have bookmarks in the Great Gatsby and Hollywood Wives by Jackie Collins

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I've been known to teach quite a lot of people how to make the most annoying sound in the world using a piece of grass.

For more useful stuff,I can teach others campy stuff like climbing, canoeing, hiking..

And I love learning new movies to watch/books to read/bands to listen to..

I usually have a ball of hemp string with me and am more than happy to teach you how to make bracelets, or just make one for you :)

Now that I'm a travel agent I apparently know a few things about the "factual" side of travel. I am a sponge and need to learn more though
