From the Netherlands with Turkish roots. Have been living abroad over the last 10 years, latest one in Sydney. Currently on my backpacking trip throughout Asia. Can't wait to discover all the beautiful cultures and food, but especially all the unplanned adventures. I'm a slow traveller trying to take it all in while travelling without rushing into everything. I don't plan much beforehand as I like being spontaneous and just going with the flow as that opens doors to crazy unexpected adventures!

I love the diversity that our world has to offer and all the different people that exist. To me diversity means enrichment, and traveling breaks prejudices...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my travel experiences, the best way I've always learned about a culture and country is staying and interacting with locals. I've had some incredible spontaneously developed host experiences during my travels, and they have always been an unforgettable highlight of my whole trip!

Joining this platform that naturally consists of such welcoming, open minded, flexible, social, easy going people who have a passion for travel, where you can make new connections, help eachother or get inspired from, is more than a logical step to me for finding like minded people more easily.

It's also a platform where I can give back to the travel community, always happy to show around anyone visiting my city and host whenever possible, and hare my knowledge and advice on the many cities I've lived in or travelled to.

Interests

I love anything outdoors and regularly go hiking and camping, always in to try new things and experiences such as outdoor sports. Just getting started with rock climbing/canyoning/caving. Catching the sunset whenever I can, finding new viewpoints, chilling at a nice park on a sunny day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Embarking on a 1 week epic roadtrip with a stranger I had just met on my first day in Thailand, to her hometown in the middle of the country, where she hosted me for several days! Being spontaneous and going with the flow had led to many beautiful adventures.
