ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing, outdoorsy female who feels like she has been held down for too long! Some people call me a gypsy or a free spirit - I call it a passion for adventure. I explore when I can, but I am also aware of my responsibilities... My number one weakness! That also includes my most favoritest thing in the world, my pup Madison. The connection I have with her is a little ridiculous, some would say.
Anyways, I am ready to get my life started. I want to meet new people, experience new things, get into trouble... everything! Most of all, I want to get started on hitchhiking the states. It's dangerous? Who cares! Maybe I can find someone to join me - there is safety in numbers, right?
I get along with all types of people. I've always considered it a strength. Growing up, I experienced many cultures and walks of life, so it's easy for me to assimilate into different situations. I think this quote best describes it -
"...I have a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that is as wide and as wavering as the ocean." LDR
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the last year I have been inbetween homes but I am fixing up my place so hopefully something will be available soon! I've had my profile marked "maybe" for a long time so I apologize that I haven't been able to host! That, and the dates never really worked out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first time was in Quito Ecuador when I spent four weeks in South America. It was my first stop, so it was easy to plan a meet. He picked my friend and me up from the airport and gave us a few tips. I received a couple of invites inbetween, but it was always a last minute type of thing so it never panned out.
Since then I've couchsurfed when I can because I find it absolutely amazing the sense of "culture" and camaraderie that this community brings!
Interests
Currently expanding my list of experiences.
I am extremely active. Besides working in a warehouse environment, I get out of town every chance I get to find day hikes and trips around the area.
I love roadtrips. They are my favorite thing. A big passion of mine is trying to get people who view roadtrips as boring and "a waste of time sitting in a car" to see that just because you're sitting in a car trying to get from Point A to Point B does not constitute it as a roadtrip!

Music, Movies, and Books
I will and do listen to pretty much everything. If I had to choose my favorite genre, it would probably be 90s-00s R&B. If I was choosing what I've to listen to forever, I'd say... Indie/folk.
I prefer non-fiction books to fiction, mainly ones pertaining to subjects in psychology and/or history. My "to read" list is quite long at the moment and I will always take suggestions.
