About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finishing my studies and starting a family! - nice (=
ABOUT ME
I am a father, a math student and a passionate boardgame player. Actually I am doing all of these with passion and they keep me occupied (especially my daughter of course!)
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy... I like to think and come up with ideas about life and what it should be like.
I am an optimist: Life is a beautiful story, so I imagine it having a happy ending.
I am naive: see above.
I am (a little bit) faithful: God is good. After all we are loved and we shall share this love on earth.
But after all I am also realistic, too: We cannot expect things to turn out happily on there own, we have to work for that. I am willing to put some effort into the happy end (=
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I loved to travel a lot, and will in the future, right now I participate by hosting travelers, showing them arround, connecting and telling people about the great CS Project (=
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great Experiences so far! My profile is much newer than my CS experience: Check out "Meike Dittus" profile, she is my girlfriend and we hosted people and surfed couches for a while now.
Also before that I stayed in host families in the Philippines, Georgia and some European places, not within the CS Project though.
We love to welcome visitors in our little family. (=
I will certainly continue the quest in Freiburg!
Interests
Math, the world, good laugh, sharing a joke, playing a game, what so ever.
I am not so much an adventurer, but I like to go outside and experience what is there waiting for me.
I am also not so much a party person, but I love to dance (with or without alcohol (= ) and listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ask me if you want to know. My answer will vary on the state of my mind. For books: certainly "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" and Zarmonia books by Walter Moers (I just found out there is an English translation!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed four weeks at a filipino family while building a education building on a farm together. That was a very intensive and amazing couch surfing experience.
