Hi, I'm Imke, a student of Social Sciences from Berlin. I am very interested in different cultures and the way of life in other countries, especially underground subcultures. I would describe myself as curious, open-minded, talkative, and easy to be with. I enjoy creative activities especially dancing (Jazzdance, musical, modern...) and singing in the shower. In Berlin I am politically engaged and always try not to follow social constraints but to find alternativ ways of living. I am also a part of a young collective that organizes alternative, non-commercial parties and festivals in summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Maia and I are on a trip through Europe and we want to meet people to get to know different cities from a personal perspective. We are interested in an authentic experience of everyday life, far from sterilized, boring hotels and expensive touristic restaurants :)
