Because it’s a cool sounding way to see the world and meet interesting new people. To see a different side of the word from what you see travelling in cars and staying in hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all sorts of music, movies and books. I think my overall favourite type of music is Folk music. Mostly because it tends to be so real, down to earth, and mellow. Some of my favourite bands and musicians are Michael Franti, Elephant Revival, Curly Strings, Nora Jones, the Good Lovelies, Waillin' Jennys, Mandolin Orange, Oliver Schroer, and Bob Marley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Won first place in the Quadra Island Strong Man Contest (I still have no idea why I won this. I’m not very strong…)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to swing dance, tap dance, or electroswing. I could show you how to play songs on the piano, violin, or ukulele. Do the dishes, cook boeuf bourguignon, Coquilles St.-Jacques, or home-made pizza, make your morning coffee in many different styles (at least fourteen or so I think, depending on supplies), bake chocolate chip cookies, make youtube videos for you or your business, edit or record podcast episodes for you, take your portrait, write a song for you, or show you how to light a bow-drill fire.
