ABOUT ME

Well- I've been living in Hawaii for about 4 years now and it's been all-and-all a pretty damn good place to ride out a recession!

I spend my time working a bit, trying to get new work, playing music, cooking, beaching it, and cruising around Waikiki.

I'd traveled a lot outside of the US starting about 10 years ago, but had to stop and finish college sometime in the middle of it all- I still feel like I got a good start on the world scene, and have a full life ahead of me to travel more.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm An Athiest Equalitarian-

We are what we produce, what we share, and only how we appear in the eyes of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a lot of people in the past 6 months at my place, and have met up with a lot of others around town.

I'm getting better at staying connected in the forums and keeping tabs on local gatherings. I really love to show people around the islands, and to help people get the most out of their stay-

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting and meeting up with folks from CS for about the last 6 months- It's been a really great experience and I look forward to meeting more new people along the way-

I'm also looking forward to doing couch surfing myself. I've never used CS as a surfer, and I don't get off of this rock often enough to meet other hosts around the world- I'll be in Chicago in early December, and look forward to meeting folks there through CS-

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting to sail on a small boat with only 3 of us from here (Honolulu) to the Kona side of the Big Island was a pretty epic recent adventure. Pretty amazing to see the sky from the ocean at night like that- and amazing the way the ocean kicks the shit out of you without regard or remorse..
