Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting people, hearing their stories, exchanging points of view, eating good food, dancing, writing.
ABOUT ME
I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, drinking coffee or wine, writing, and playing/cuddling with my cat. I spend a lot of time thinking about how people work, and how the world works. I'm more than a little ridiculous and love to laugh.
My graduate work in psych focused on trauma and resilience (research and therapy). I care about social justice issues, trying to help people have access to the resources they need, and making the world a little brighter.
To balance, I tango. It's amazing.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind. Kick ass at the things that are important to you. Turn regrets into lessons.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people as much as I love going to new places. I'd much rather make a genuine connection with someone, get to know them, and learn what they love about a city than go to a thousand tourist traps.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing has been incredibly kind to me. I met another surfer in Providence, made friends of the amazing hosts I had in Ann Arbor, and made a couple of great connections when in Montreal for a tango festival. I have only good things to say about it. Can't host where I am currently, but I hope to someday.
Interests
Dualities/apparent dichotomies, Reading, writing, coffee, sunshine, thunderstorms, long walks at all hours of the day and night, spontaneous adventures, wine, beer, hearing people's stories, autumn, pumpkin anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to count!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to knit, make soda from water kefir grains, speak in abab, and make really good truffles and bananas foster. Or, I could teach you 30, which is arguably the most awesome card game ever.
We could trade stories, ideas, and experiences. I have yet to meet someone who isn't interesting.
