ABOUT ME
I am still learning about me . . .
Life is a long strange trip. Lived and worked in the West and Northwest for 10 years after college. Just relocated to Asheville, NC. Some of my friends would best describe me as a free-form wierdo - I can be very serious and not take anything seriously - I like dance parties, adventures, and lots of butter and toast
PHILOSOPHY
Not even the very wise can see all ends . . .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have not been active on here in a long time. I was living seasonal work gigs and traveling, then was living in a remote area.
I enjoyed hosting and surfing when I could and always spreading the good word about couchsurfing to travellers who haven't yet heard about it .
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed on some friends couches officially and more times than not unofficially, had a really amazing group of folks surf my couch while I was living in Japan, and in South Lake Tahoe. I love sharing the love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was recently driving across the country and broke down on the interstate. Tow truck driver took me to a hole in the wall garage in town. It was after dark and after hours and me and my ridesharer and her dog were fixing on sleeping in the car till the garage opened in the morning even though it was suppose to dip down into the teens. When we got there the shop owner and his assistant were still there drinking beers, watching tv in the office and shooting the breeze. They invited us in, shared their beers and quite a few stories and laughs, bought us a big pizza for dinner, and the shop owner invited us to stay at his home for the night. The next morning, turns out it was only a loose wire on the alternator. He charged up my battery and sent us on our way for only $20. Thank my lucky stars for an honest mechanic. Dave Schick at Better Brakes in Cambridge, Ohio. Thank You!
