Hi!
A friend of mine and I are travelling in Israel from the 20. March till 09. April. We are looking forward to meeting people who can give us an insight into the country, show us around or even just recommend us interesting places! Of course if anyone feels like hosting us, we would really appreciate that as well!

In general we are very interested in non-commercial projects open to get involved in for a short time and in any kind of alternatives to the common touristic stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on couchsurfing for a while now - even though it might not show on my profile because my friends mostly stealthely got the references :) They are all good though, if you can take my word for it!

The idea behind CS really resonates with me. Creating encounters with other people without expecting something specific in return. Helping strangers. Explaining places. Welcoming people into your world.... And lets not forget the non-commercial aspect of CS which is such a relief in our commodity fetishist times (bloody hell, I am on a roll!)

Well, I'm sure this is why most people are here so I'll stop babbling.

Interests

Listening to people talking about books and films they love. Or just to people doing dialects/accents.

Not sleeping indoors.

Having first coffee of the morning, sitting somewhere outside, watching people on their way to work.

Dancing to Neue Deutsche Welle or cumbia.
